Wow!
Once again Magics Users, the New Year has snuck up on us. Now that Magics 12 has been out for over a month, it is time to schedule Magics training to make sure you get the most out of your investment. For all the newcomers to Magics, get signed up now so you can get up and running in the fastest way possible by scheduling a Basic course with us to ensure that you have the foundation you need to get those parts out fast. Among other things, you'll learn how to view in sections (handy when you need to look inside a part), measure, figure out what's wrong with a part and fix it.
For all you experienced users that means that there has been new functionality added to the software that you might not be aware of. Shrinkwrap comes to mind. Aside from that, if you have never been formally trained in Magics you would be surprised what you can learn in a Basic course. Interestingly enough, I have had many experienced users go through the Basic course and within the first 30 minutes state "I didn't know it could do that." And as always you can schedule yourself into an Advanced course to learn how to fill that hole on a radius that you never were able to do so before.
So if you would like to take advantage of our classes, give me a call and I'll get you in. As always, regular training classes are two days in duration and can consist of multiple customers in a single class (with a maximum of four students per class although Ed at Saddleback may be able to accommodate more). Therefore, we are able to offer these monthly classes at a 50% discount off the regular training price resulting in a course cost of $1000 per person.

Schedule a Basic training course to set
a firm foundation for using Magics. In
Basic training you will learn how to set
up Magics to optimize video rendering,
how and why STL files are the way the
are, then use that knowledge to make
sure they are free from defects, cutting
large parts to make sure you can fit
them on your build platform, labeling
parts for easy identification, and more. |
Schedule an Advanced course to squeeze
the maximum efficiency from your
process. In Advanced training, you will
learn how to hollow (shell) parts to
make them lighter/faster to build, how
to offset to add/remove material from
features, many advanced fixing
techniques to give you the ability to
fix almost any defect, and how to
customize the user interface to make
Magics work most efficiently for you. |
